To say that The Last Jedi was a disappointing movie would be an understatement worthy of as much praise as subject of that disappointment is of its criticism. The Last Jedi was not just a disappointing movie; it was a truly abysmal movie. A more perfect bad Star Wars movie would be difficult, though in all fairness, possible, to make.
Where to start... How about Finn and Rose's little side adventure to The Planet of the Evil Rich People that Abuse Orphans? This scene is not only poorly done and riddled with plot holes, it's also completely pointless. Thankfully, that pointlessness also makes it fairly harmless in the grand scheme of things. Or, it would have, except for the final scene of the movie. Johnson sure knows how to squeeze the maximum possible amount of breakage out of a script.

13 days agoWhat else did you expect from trusting Disney to respect the legacy of the original trilogy? The irony is that the next piece of crap that comes out will still be watched and paid for by the people who "hate" it and Disney profits will break all records in spite of producing garbage again and again.
